Well it’s that time again…Tuesdays Post!!! For today’s post I figured I would keep it simple and talk about the quotes we got for our next book.
For our first book, we had a forward from Skottie Young and two quotes on the back of the book. One from Fransisco Herrera (Berona’s War is absolutely amazing. Funny characters. great graphic design and quality art…it’s a sale!) and one from Humberto Ramos (Berona’s War is a piece or art. If you’re gonna buy one book this summer, this is the one!). When we received these quotes we were, to say the least, excited! Three artist we loved, all giving us quotes we loved!
Now that we are rounding the corner to our next book we are lucky enough to receive a couple more quotes by two more people that mean a lot to us. The First is Doug Tennapel. If you dont know his name (and you should) you should know his creations. The one that most of us adore is Earthworm Jim! Man, the hours we spent on that game!!! And second, even though he is not an artist, per say, he is still on the top of our man-crush list. Sean Patrick Flanery, who stared in the Young Indiana Jones and of course Boondock Saints. We met him a few cons back and got to be buddys with him. In all sinserity he seems like a really great guy…so there was no way we were going to turn down a quote from the man of action himself!
So now you know a little more into what you will be seeing in our next book. As for the foreword, you will have to wait and see.
