Funny Story…The night before the Jackson Comic Con, Anthony and I
were sitting around my table sketching (cuz after all that’s what we
do). We thought it would be fun to mess around by dressing our
characters up as a couple of Marvel character, which is always fun to
do. Anthony decided to go with Wolverine and I decided to do Iron Man.
Anthony was trying to get his “Wolverine” in a specific pose while I
was just screwing around and not really following through with any one
design.
By the end of the night Anthony finally got his Ele-Alta in the perfect Wolverine pose and I thought it looked pretty damn good…meanwhile as far as my Iron Man Cropone, I still had nothing worth saving.
The next day at the con (and here’s where it gets funny) someone came up to him and asked if he could draw one of his Ele-Alta in a Iron Man outfit AND I was asked to draw (here it comes) a Cropone in a Wolverine get up! What are the odds huh?
Now what makes this so perfect for me is that Anthony had done all the hard work for me the night before…while, I’m sorry to say, I gave him squat for any Iron Man ideas. And you better believe I stole his idea, I stole that sucker in a heart beat!
Anyway, by the time it was all said and done we both had pretty solid drawings that I believe we were both happy with. I really liked Anthony’s Iron man and whet can I say, I likes “his” Wolverine too! Ha Ha, thanks again Anthony…*wink wink*
