When I first started doing cons, one of the things I brought to the table was LAMByards. See what I did there? They were lanyards with lambs on them AND they were LAMBinated! The jokes just kept on coming! Anyway, they were a pretty big hit. Well in preparations for the San Diego Comicon, Anthony suggested that doing more lanyards was a bit of a no-brainer. However, I think we could do without the “Lamb” aspect of it.. So what we will be doing is designing a series of Berona’s War lanyards specifically for San Diego.

If we handle it the same way I did the LAMByards, we will be giving them to anyone who spends $5 at our table. And though we don’t have it totally planned out, what we would also like to do it also give out pins to go with them. For each day someone returns to our table wearing one of the lanyard we will give them a badge (pin) to place on their lanyard string. So at the end of the con they will have all three badges. One Archer’s badge, Runner’s badge, and Flag Bearer’s badge. It’ll be like earning your boy scout badges all over again…but a lot easier because all you have to do is show up!

Hopefully we will have a selection of around 24 different character to chose from, so each person can choose the character that suits him best. We will even have 4 exclusive San Diego characters in the mix (Deadpool, Princess Leia, Wolverine and Boba fett)!
